The Sino German U16 Youth Football Friendship Tournament is a large-scale institutionalized football exchange activity between China and Germany. It was jointly launched by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the German Rhineca Metropolitan Area Germany China Friendship Association in 2012, aiming to promote youth football exchange between China and Germany and create a platform for youth exchange between China and Germany. Six sessions have been successfully held since 2012. According to incomplete statistics, nearly a thousand teenagers from over 40 Chinese and German cities and regions participated in the project. This competition has become a link and bridge to convey the friendship between China and Germany.

During the inspection of campus facilities, Wei Haiying, former national women's football player and head coach of Yingya St. Peter's School, mentioned in an exchange that Yingya St. Peter's School has professional football training and competition venues, and has the qualifications to host international football events. The German youth training system is sound, with professional coaches who are good at guiding and encouraging; As a footballer, I really want to learn the advanced aspects of German football through this competition, which will be of great help to our youth football in Eindhoven.
Subsequently, the school led a group of guests to visit the campus of Yingya St. Peter's School in detail. Looking at the beautiful Nanyong Lake from the simulated United Nations window on the fifth floor, after a detailed understanding of the specific functions of each campus building, Mr. Kurtz praised the overall layout and unique British style architecture of the school. The guests visited student dormitories, 400/300 meter football fields, black box theaters, fitness training centers, canteens, supermarkets, basketball courts, and other places, especially the artificial turf football field certified by FIFA. Mr. Kurtz carefully inspected the environment and lawn and stayed there for a long time.
Finally, we arrived at the 300 meter real grass football field of Yingya St. Peter's School. Mr. Kurtz took out his phone and compared it with the training ground in Germany, asking in detail about specific numbers such as the thickness of the lawn and the size of the sports field, demonstrating the high level of seriousness of a professional with a pleased smile on his face.
